About Contrast Legal

Knowledge
Powered by the Right Connection.

At Contrast Legal, we believe the outcome of a legal matter often depends on one critical decision—choosing the right attorney. Founded in 2025, Contrast Legal was created to help individuals and families navigate legal challenges with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

We are not a traditional law firm. We are a legal referral and advisory service dedicated to connecting clients with attorneys whose experience, approach, and resources align with their specific legal needs. Our role is to serve as a trusted intermediary—guiding people toward informed decisions and meaningful legal representation.

From Houston and the surrounding metro area to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, and communities across Texas, Contrast Legal helps clients take the first step forward with confidence.

Our Purpose

Our Purpose

The legal system can be intimidating, complex, and overwhelming—especially for those encountering it for the first time. Many people struggle not because they lack a valid case, but because they do not know where to turn or how to identify the right legal professional.

Contrast Legal exists to simplify that process.

We focus on:

  • Helping people understand their legal options
  • Educating clients about their rights and next steps
  • Connecting each case with an attorney best suited for the situation

By doing so, we empower individuals to make smart, informed choices at a time when clarity matters most.

What Makes Contrast Legal Different

Unlike generic lawyer directories or automated referral platforms, Contrast Legal takes a hands-on, consultative approach.

We take time to understand:

  • The details and urgency of your legal matter
  • The practice area and complexity involved
  • Your goals, concerns, and expectations
  • The type of attorney relationship that best fits your situation

Only then do we make a referral—matching you with a reputable attorney who has demonstrated experience handling similar cases and is positioned to deliver results.

Our focus is not volume. It is precision.

Who We Serve

Contrast Legal assists individuals and families seeking legal guidance in key practice areas, including:

While our platform is optimized for clients in the Houston Metro Area, we proudly serve clients statewide throughout Texas, connecting them with attorneys licensed and experienced in Texas law.

Our Network of Attorneys

We work with a carefully selected network of law firms and attorneys across Texas. Each attorney we connect clients with is chosen based on:

The details of your legal issue

Proven experience in their practice area

The complexity and urgency of your case

Professional reputation and track record

Justice
Your personal priorities and concerns

Ability to handle cases efficiently and ethically

The type of attorney best suited to advocate for you

Alignment with the client’s needs and expectations

By focusing on quality and compatibility, we help ensure clients are not simply hiring a lawyer—but partnering with the right one.

Our Values

At Contrast Legal, everything we do is guided by four core principles:

Our Values
Knowledge
We believe informed clients make better decisions. Education and transparency are central to our approach.
Strength
Legal challenges require strong advocacy. We focus on connecting clients with attorneys who are prepared to protect their interests.
Connectivity
The right connection can change the course of a case. Our role is to create those connections with intention and precision.
Power
Confidence comes from having the right support. We help clients move forward knowing they are backed by capable legal professionals.
Our Values

Our Mission

Our mission is to help people understand the law in simple ways, teach individuals about their rights, and connect them with the right lawyers—so they can make smart choices and feel confident when handling legal problems.

Lindsey Beaty

Referring Partner

Lindsey Beaty is a Partner with Contrast Legal, LLC. Lindsey is a “roll-up-your-sleeves-and-get-the-job-done” lawyer. Born and raised in Houston, Lindsey attended the University of Houston, where she pursued two majors: psychology and political science. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in 2006. Throughout her undergraduate studies, Lindsey dedicated her time and effort to working with underprivileged inner-city youth through Harris County Child Protective Services.

Immediately following graduation, Lindsey continued to immerse herself in work on behalf of at-risk children. From 2006 to 2013, Lindsey advocated tirelessly for young people as a Probation Officer for Harris County Juvenile Probation Department. Lindsey’s compassion, empathy, and relatability distinguished her from her peers; she eventually earned a promotion to the Intensive Supervision Unit. Driven to do even more, Lindsey returned to school in 2014 in pursuit of a law degree from South Texas College of Law Houston.

During law school, Lindsey worked full time to put herself through school, while raising two teenage daughters. She also participated in the moot court program in her “spare” time. The law school education was supplemented by her real life exposure in the work force where she worked on mass tort, property, and personal injury cases. In her final year of law school, Lindsey was hired by a well-known Houston law firm (Arnold & Itkin) to work on a mass tort docket helping young men who were deformed by a major pharmaceutical manufacturer. Lindsey brought with her years of case management and specialized client resolution skills. After being admitted to the Texas Bar in February 2018, Lindsey was invited to join Arnold & Itkin as an attorney, where she continued doing plaintiff mass tort work.

In 2025, Lindsey has committed to performing pro bono service. The Pro Bono Pledge is intended to encourage lawyers to perform a base level of pro bono and inspire them to strive towards the State Bar’s aspirational goal of performing at least 50 hours of free legal services to the poor each year. When not advocating for her clients and community, Lindsey enjoys creating music in her home studio and escaping to the beach with her family.

Lindsey is licensed to practice law in the state of Texas.

Kreshae Quao

Referring Partner
Kreshae Quao

Kreshae Quao serves as Referral Counsel with Contrast Legal, supporting a dynamic referral platform that spans personal injury and numerous other areas of law. With a background that cuts across litigation, risk analysis, and transactional work, she evaluates legal matters holistically rather than through rigid practice-area silos. Her approach is defined by intellectual curiosity and a willingness to rebuild the framework when conventional legal thinking no longer fits the problem.

She developed a strong in-house litigation foundation while serving as staff counsel at Allstate Insurance Company, where she handled insurance defense matters and advised stakeholders on litigation risk, exposure, and resolution strategy.

Working within a large, highly structured organization sharpened her ability to evaluate cases quickly and deliver practical recommendations under real-world constraints. Earlier in her career, Kreshae also worked on plaintiff-side healthcare-related litigation at Sorrels Law, supporting matters that required careful analysis of medical records, expert input, and sensitive factual issues. This experience provided perspective across both sides of the litigation process, strengthening her ability to assess disputes with nuance rather than ideology.

Beyond litigation, Kreshae’s background spans contract management, compliance, and business analysis. A U.S. Army veteran and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, she has managed government solicitations and operational evaluations, often applying data-informed approaches to identify risk and inefficiency. She is particularly interested in how systems—legal, technical, or organizational—can be redesigned to work better.

Kreshae is also the architect of the Privacy Law and technology initiatives at Contrast Legal. She is currently pursuing the Certified Information Privacy Professional/US (CIPP/US) credential to lead the firm’s focus on data infrastructure, SaaS ventures, and consumer protection. A pioneer in legal automation, she utilizes Python, SQL, and Tableau to develop custom solutions that modernize workflows and enhance operational efficiency. Admitted to the State Bar of Texas, Kreshae brings a builder’s mindset to her work—testing ideas, connecting disciplines, and pushing toward smarter, more adaptive ways of delivering legal services.
